Back in the Big House

We made it home at 4:30 this afternoon after a nice weekend visiting with Sylvia’s Dad. We had a chance to go and see a great concert in Abbotsford on Saturday afternoon with them, and if you ever get a chance to see Songs Strings and Steps put on by Calvin Dyck and a cast of hundreds by all means get a ticket. It was a wonderful performance.

Other than that we had a quiet weekend, and did enjoy all the sun we could find as we’re still trying to adjust to temperatures at least 15 degrees less than we’ve become accustomed to.

I’ve been watching a few other travellers blogs over the past few months. Half of the bloggers have already made it home, with a few stragglers putting it off as long as possible. Croft and Les are still in Oregon, but it won’t be long before they cross the border. All good things come to an end I guess, but that only means we’ll all be starting new adventures soon.

    • Thanks Jan. Egypt and Turkey should be very interesting….We haven’t made firm plans on our next trip, but that area has always interested me. I guess they have no RV parks though 🙂
